Someone asked me once If I could meet anyone in this world who would it be? I said"Gordon B. Hinckley". He really is the one person I wanted to meet in this life time to thank him for bringing me back into the church, as I served my mission our beloved Prophet loved us all Missionaries so much and his words of Wisdom and love gave me power within my self to serve our Heavenly Father Faithfully. I loved Gordon B. Hinckley so much and am filled with joy that he is reuniting with his wonderful wife. He did amazing work here on this earth we all know how proud Heavenly Father is of him. Chris said the day he passed away" what a welcoming he was about to receive". There are so many things I could say about this amazing faithful loving Prophet. It humbles me to have known how lucky my little family and I have been to have lived on this earth the time Gordon B Hinckley lead this TRUE church. We love you! and will miss you dearly.

A while back Chris was given these energy drinks for him to try, they are in a plastic tube just full of sugar. After our Vegas trip he put them in the junk drawer, they had been in there in for awhile and I completely forgot about them. Until a couple of days ago Kade found one in the drawer and wanted a drink, I said no hunny that is not for little boys"but I want some" well kade "no" it is bed time, I am going to get Connor and I will be right back, before I knew it there he was saying " I LIKE IT MOMMY, I LIKE IT" handing me the drink, I looked at him and said Kade, please tell me you didn't drink half of this and if you did how in world did you get it open?
He just kept saying yummy I like it mommy" well needless to say here it was 3 hrs later and he was still running back and forth to our room to his" saying the funniest things like his Elmo had to go potty and he would come in to our bedroom knowing we were in bed and turn on our bathroom light and pretend ELMO was going potty! Chris and I could not stop laughing he was just talking to himself and going back and forth we did not know what to do! I just kept asking Chris if Kaden was going to be alright knowing that was not good for him at all... I felt so bad that I had left that drink in there, I honestly have no idea how he could of opened it himself. He always seem to be out smarting me! I should have thrown it away along time ago I don't like those things anyways I think we just forgot we put it in there. Needless to say it was an unforgettable night.

Have you ever tried cleaning up Vaseline? Let me tell you that is not the easiest thing to clean. After what felt like using a whole roll of toilet paper and all the wipes and 45 minutes later the mess was cleaned up and chris and I were like well I guess you can forget the movie and we just went to bed just looking at each other thinking "the joys of parenthood" Kaden still thinks he did nothing wrong! oh my little boy you think you are so funny!!

TAGGED
So I was wondering how long I could go with out being tagged. But my dear friend Kelly just wanted to add me on all the fun. No really I am excited to do it so here it goes.....
What is his name? Christopher Tanner
How long have you been together? 6 years this past Nov(and Chris surprised me and flew us to Vegas with no kids(loved that hee hee) and we had sooooo much fun, thank you Chris for a great surprise)
How long did you date? Those of you who know the story know that we really didn't date, seriously I had my wedding dress before our first real date, what can I say it was love at first sight okay maybe 3rd hee hee! It just all fell into place.... So we actually dated/get ready for a wedding about 4 months....
Who eats more? Are you kidding me! Chris by far that boy can eat and eat and just gain muscle, but since I started my program with Total Health and Fitness I eat about 6-7 times a day so maybe me right now who knows right!!!! All I know is when we go somewhere for dinner people wonder if I starve my husband because he can just eat and eat !
Who said I love you first? Chris (I was so shocked I said thank you)who says thank you right.... I did however let him know I loved him too.
Who is taller? He is
Who is smarter? I wish I could say me, but of course it is Chris for someone who really doesn't like school sure passed with flying colors! He loves to learn, but hates school, now me I love to learn too but can't wait to go back to school this summer, I told chris even if I am 90 years old I will get my degree, in what, I am not quite sure, but I will do it..... go me right hee hee
Who does the laundry? I do, I really enjoy cleaning it is the one thing I feel I am really good at. Since connor was born I just can't seem to keep up with the laundry(please tell me I am not alone in this)but I am trying and seriously if I don't do it, it won't get done.....
Who does the dishes? I do, but on the weekends chris is really good to help.....
Who sleeps on the right? I do(I am still afraid of being closet to the door I know how silly is that, but if something were to happen it would get me first right hee hee (it is just an old fear I can't seem to get rid of)
Who pays the bills? ANY TAKERS!!! chris does our bills and gets mad me for not doing the bills at home, because then he has to not only do our bills but our business bills too, I tell him that is what he gets for being the smart one.
Who mows the lawn? Believe it or not I have never mowed a lawn in my life, and right now neither because we live in a place where it is done for us, that is what we pay the HOA FEE for hee hee, but can't wait to have our own lawn soon..... (so chris can do the mowing hee hee jk)
Who cooks dinner? I do
Who drives when you are together? Chris. For some reason he thinks I am not a good driver....
Who is more stubborn? Of course me, I don't have kelly's excuse, I think my mission made me stubborn.... I don't know I use to never be stubborn then I got married and became really stubborn.
Who kissed who first? Chris kissed me first
Who asked out who first? he did
Who proposed? Chris (and when he did he kneeled down and said "I promise to love you forever, will you marry me? ) how sweet is that!
Who wears the pants? So Chris thought I was full of it saying I wear the pants, looks like we both think we wear the pants.... (but I know I really do)ha ha ha
so now I tag, anna, heidi, bryn and jamie

Any ideas?
Okay so I realize how girley this page looks, I loved my other one and for some reason I can't get it back. I get my blog designs from matiekay.blogspot.com(thank you bevany), does anyone have any ideas?
Looking back at 2007!
Last year went by really fast, but, then again the older I get the more time flys. Last year Chris and I knew what to expect, he graduated from the U of U in May, we opened a business the end of July beginning of August, we had our sweet baby #2(Connor) the week we opened. I was telling Chris how last year we knew what to expect, this year we are not sure what to expect. We have high hopes that our business will be as successful as we believe it to be, I know most of you think he is crazy for leaving a government job to starting our own business, but I knew from the beginning that Chris was going to own his own business when he graduated. I feel really blessed to have married Chris and that we have 2 wonderful children with together. He is the one person I know that puts up with my qorkyness, (is that even a word?) I also feel blessed to have a husband that is family oriented, and to be able to stay home with my two little BUSY boys! Life does come at you fast, but I firmly believe that by making goals and working hard you can accomplish anything. May this year bring happiness to all of us!

Happy New Years!
MY BEST FRIEND!
Let me tell you about this wonderful tradition that Grandpa and Grandma Marie Mertz do every New Years Eve. The picture below is one of the things the kids look forward to every year called the Fish pond. They go from youngest to oldest and this is when they can give all the grandkids their Christmas gifts. Then they get all the confetti works and let the kids go crazy(talk about finding confetti for days right) ! We all love this, we go crazy and really have fun with everybody.... Then Grandpa and Grandma Marie let all the kids stay over for the night while the parents have the night to them selves, THANK YOU GRANDPA AND GRANDMA ! Then they have a yummy breakfast in the morning for everybody when we come pick up the kids.
Of course kaden got his Fire Truck(I think we have every kind of truck there is, if anyone needs saving a life kaden has the vehicle. )
3,2,1, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!! (It really wasn't midnight)
Cousin Janie making a snow angel in the confetti!
Connor I am not sure what this face is your are doing, but it's pretty funny bud!
I had someone take this, to prove to Chris we do still kiss ! Of course our little monkey had to get in some of the action! Kids!!!! are wonderful aren't they??? ha ha
